Exchanging device lists and serial numbers – but not via the form
Many IT projects have device lists: leases, inventories, rollout plans. They are useful for transport – but not in the first request. We agree the secure exchange method for such lists together after the request.
What matters
- First request without a list
- Product group, quantity, sites and date are enough for a quote.
- No form for lists
- The request form is not intended for device lists. Please do not paste lists into it.
- Agreeing the exchange method
- How lists are handed over is agreed after the request – the technical method is still to be defined.
- Content of the list
- Serial numbers and device types are usually enough; personal assignments are not needed for transport.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Is there a target list of devices?
- What is it needed for – reconciliation, inventory, buyer?
- Does it contain personal data that can be removed?
- Who should receive the result list?
- Which format do you use?
What we need from you
- Whether a list exists (without sending it)
- Purpose of the list
- Recipient of the result list
- Rough device count
What we do for you
What we organise
- Transport of your IT hardware from collection straight to destination – from one pallet to recurring volumes
- On request collection from several sites, serial number capture and project-based packaging
- Dates coordinated with every collection and destination site – with one contact for you
Good to know
Have your device lists ready – we agree the secure exchange route per project right after the request.
