Collecting IT hardware from site closures
When an office or site closes, the IT has to go by a fixed date – usually unpacked, mixed and with few staff left who have time. We plan the collection backwards from the clearance date.
What matters
- Clearance date
- By when the premises must be empty determines the plan. We work backwards.
- Unpacked devices
- At closures, hardly anything is packed. Project-based packaging is available on request.
- Storage media
- Devices with storage media leave the site under your responsibility. Whether data is erased beforehand is your decision.
- Destination
- Head office, warehouse, remarketer or recycling partner – the destination decides packaging and route.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- By when must the site be cleared?
- Which devices and quantities are there?
- Are the devices packed?
- Where is the hardware going?
- Who is the contact on site until clearance?
What we need from you
- Site and clearance date
- Rough device quantities
- Destination of the hardware
- Contact on site
What we do for you

Questions and answers: Hardware from site closures
Can Logisticoo collect at short notice before a clearance date?
That depends on quantity, packaging needs and date. The earlier we know the clearance date, the more reliably it can be met.
Who takes care of storage media in the devices?
You decide that with your service provider – for example erasure beforehand or transport to a certified recipient. We collect the devices accordingly and document serial numbers on request.
What should be ready before a site closure?
The IT hardware bundled and accessible, separate from furniture and office equipment. Then we collect quickly and you can hand over the site as planned.
