Project-based packaging for IT hardware

Off-lease returns and old devices often stand unpacked in offices: laptops in cupboards, monitors on desks, servers in racks. To travel safely, they need packing. On request we organise project-based packaging.

What matters

By device type
Monitors need edge protection and upright storage, laptops padding and stacking limits, servers stable bases.
By quantity
Few devices in cartons, large quantities in pallet cages or on pallets with interlayers.
On site or delivered
Whether packing material is delivered in advance, packing is done on site or goods are handed over packed is decided per project.
Part of the quote
Packaging is an additional service – scope and material are stated in the quote.

Planning questions

We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.

  1. Which devices are unpacked, and how many?
  2. Are there original cartons or existing packing material?
  3. Should packing be done on site, or will you pack with delivered material?
  4. Where are the devices going, and how long is the route?
  5. Does the recipient have packaging requirements?
