Guides
Palletising IT hardware correctly
Well palletised goods load quickly and arrive intact. Badly palletised goods slide, press or tip. A few rules make the difference.
What matters
- Heavy at the bottom
- Servers, UPS units and printers at the bottom, light and sensitive devices never underneath.
- Interlayers
- Cardboard or wooden layers spread the weight and stabilise the stack.
- Film and edge protection
- Stretch film holds things together, edge protectors prevent cutting in.
- Labelling
- Content, site and destination on every pallet – especially important with several collection points.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Which devices go on the pallets?
- Are interlayers and film available on site?
- How tall will the pallets be?
- Are the pallets labelled?
- Which pallet size is used?

Questions and answers: Palletising IT hardware
How tall may IT pallets be?
That depends on goods, stability and vehicle. State the height; we plan accordingly.
Can monitors and PCs go on one pallet?
Possible, but monitors never under PCs. Separate pallets are usually safer.
Does Logisticoo palletise on site?
On request via project-based packaging, agreed in the quote.
