Hardware
Transporting monitors – upright and protected
Monitors are the most sensitive group of office hardware: the panel breaks under point loads, corners are shock-sensitive, stands act as levers. Well packed and loaded upright, they arrive intact.
What matters
- Upright
- Monitors are transported upright where possible, not stacked flat.
- Stands
- Removing stands saves space and avoids leverage on the housing.
- Packaging
- Original cartons are ideal. Without them, pallet cages with interlayers or project-based packaging help.
- Not under heavy devices
- PCs, printers or UPS units never go on top of monitors.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- How many monitors, and which sizes?
- Are there original cartons?
- Are the stands attached?
- Are monitors mixed with other hardware?
- Should they be packed?

Questions and answers: Monitors
May monitors be transported lying flat?
Better not. Stacked flat, the weight presses on the panels. We load monitors upright where possible.
Should the stands be removed?
Yes, if possible. It saves space and avoids leverage on the housing.
What if the original cartons are gone?
Then pallet cages with interlayers or project-based packaging help, which we organise on request.
