Transport for data centre and server room moves
In a data centre move, transport is the smallest but most critical part: it happens between shutdown and recommissioning, often in a tight maintenance window. We handle the transport of the dismantled systems – removal and installation are organised by your IT service provider.
What matters
- Migration window
- Transport has to fit into the planned maintenance window. We align collection and delivery closely with your project plan – as far as it can be planned.
- Handed over dismantled
- Servers and storage are removed from the racks by your provider and handed over packed for transport.
- Whole racks
- Populated racks only move if the manufacturer and provider approve. Empty racks are simple but bulky.
- Access
- Data centres have access rules, delivery zones and goods lifts. We need them in advance.

Can populated racks be transported?
