Hardware
Transporting POS systems
POS systems stand in branches – usually few devices per site but many sites. In a replacement, new hardware goes in and old comes out, often outside opening hours. The plan is a site plan.
What matters
- Many branches
- Few devices per branch, large quantities overall. Collection from several sites is available on request.
- Time windows
- In branches, delivery is often only possible before or after opening hours.
- Components
- Till PC, receipt printer, card terminal, customer display and scanner travel better as a set per till.
- Card terminals
- Payment terminals are often subject to the payment provider's return processes – please state the requirements in advance.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- How many branches and tills are there?
- Are there time windows per branch?
- Will new systems be delivered and old ones taken?
- Do card terminals travel along, and are there rules for them?
- Where do the old devices go?
